Where to check your card safely

The official balance-check site for every major brand, and how to verify the URL before you enter your PIN. Only use the official sites and apps below — never enter your card number or PIN on a third-party page, in a link someone sent you, or on a site you can’t verify.

How to stay safe while checking
Type the official URL yourself — never tap a link a “support agent” sends. Check for the padlock and the correct domain. If the page asks for your PIN to “verify” before showing the balance, stop — that’s a red flag.
